Emergency situation - a situation caused by an extreme event that may pose an immediate and significant danger to the life or health of residents, property, the environment, or result in the death, injury, or other harm to residents.

The myth of absolute security

How did the project idea arise?

On 10th March 2020, following a random contact with a person infected with COVID-19, I became a number in the global infected count. I followed visual information the Lithuanian Ministry of Health distributed on how to behave when sick. I also tried to understand this information.

Therefore, based on my personal, professional and life experience, I naturally decided to delve into structuring such information, raise the issue of the effectiveness of data visualization, and apply my insights in developing the user experience in a prototype for alerting and informing the public.
